George Larkin: script and project consultant with real world experience. He won’t just help you write your script. He’ll advise you on the practicalities of selling it!

A Yale grad who also has a Masters in Shakespearean Studies, he was the head of development on five films: “Spanking the Monkey,” “Flirting With Disaster,” “Manny & Lo,” “The Last Good Time,” and “Wigstock: the Movie.” Three went to Sundance, with "Spanking the Monkey" winning the Audience Award there. They also were selections and in some cases award winners at the Cannes, Berlin, Avignon, Hamptons, Gotham, and New York Gay & Lesbian Film Festivals and were released theatrically by Fine Line, Miramax, Samuel Goldwyn, and Sony Classics.

As a writer and producer of theatre, his works in the last three years have been nominees for or won over fifteen awards (including nine L.A. Weekly nominations and three Backstage West honorable mention Garlands) and played in LA, NYC, and at UCSD. He created the award winning Grimm labs. (Read testimonials from some of the participants).

George has much to offer as a script and project consultant. He can help with your project as a writer, a development exec, and a producer. As someone who’s been there.

And he’s ridiculously friendly.

Feel free to call or e-mail. 310-450-5613.

HIS FIRST CLIENT

Lisa. She hired him to help her start her own design business. First thing, he helped her develop some book ideas, hooked her up with some book people in NYC, and a week later she had a deal to write a book for Chris Kincaide and McGraw-Hill in their Elements of Living Series.

Her first book.

The return on her initial investment with George? After just ten days, she’s already made thirty-four times her money invested.

This can’t happen every time, but one for one ain’t too bad.
